Yay! Finally managed to send in the application to ISB in time. Although there was a bit of a scare, when the server went down in the afternoon, I managed to wrap everything up soon enough. Now its just back to crossing my fingers and praying :)

I learnt Homer's wisdom the hard way, by trying to give the GMAT! I got a lower score than I managed on the mocks... much closer to my average score than I would like. But it is still decent enough to get me into the ISB. So more on my journey soon...!

Old Winston almost got it right... I'd prob'ly add a few more 'nevers' in there :) Just a thought...

Why is life full of so many question marks? I have always pondered that question, and all it does is lead to many more questions... !?!??!!! N E Wayz, as some of u know, I was having some problems with my health, but hopefully things will be back 2 normalcy soon, n I'll be on track again (hopefully, unless some more questions are raised :)

Back 2 blogging after a while now... been a hectic week, with essay-writing... mock tests, n what-have-u! Not much energy left after writing (online n off) continuously for 3-4 hrs each day...
Found some gr8 essay tips on the net, as also sample AWA essays; have added links to 2 of the best ones (both Argue & Issue).

The pic above shows exactly how I feel right now... too many things to do, and not enough time, and then the big wave comes along, and the ground goes out from under your feet.
After spending 6 days with Conjuctivitis, and unable to do anything much, I'd finally begun to start things afresh, when things started going all wrong. Took the GMAT CAT2 test, ended up with a lower score than expected. Add to that, some health woes, and u have a recipe for disaster!

Hey! Everywhere I turn to on the Net, for help with the GMAT, whether its Yahoo/Google groups, or even Orkut - test-takers are worrying about their final GMAT scores. Well, all ur gonna get is an anxiety attack... so just concentrate on preparing for the test, n leave the rest to fate (unless ur agnostic :)

OK, Plan B is up & running :) Have booked the GMAT test for Nov. 6th, and hopefully will have studied enough by then 2 make it 2 the ISB shortlist. Have also written out the drafts for my essays, and seem to have got most things down pat.
Will send the Recommendation forms out prob'ly 2morrow, and shd have that wrapped up pretty soon... The Internet has (as usual) proven 2 be an indispensable tool in my journey 2 the ISB. I am now part of the ISB aspirants groups on Yahoo, Google, and Orkut... and believe me - it helps. There is simply so much info out there... one just has 2 know where 2 look!

Ok, its 9:30, and Im bleary-eyed from all the studying I've done last night for the GMAT. Haven't had more than 4 hrs sleep this last month, ever since I decided to go for ISB (Yay - chalo ISB)... seemed very exciting then, but now, Im already beginning to get a feel of how it could be once Im in (IF IM IN)!

My 1st entry n Im already running outta time... have 2 get 2 the Princeton classes for GMAT, write the next drafts for my essays, and make arrangements for the reco's to be sent. OMG! I almost forgot (cardinal sin) - havent yet regd for the GMAT -
